The “Internet of Things” (IoT) will connect 50 million devices and attract over $6 Trillion of investment by 2020. The IoT industry is the next wave of Internet technologies and expected to create hundreds of thousands of well-paying professional jobs. IoT will fundamentally change the way we live and work, and how business and manufacturing will be done worldwide. Are you ready to join the IoT revolution?
Kilton started programming computers when he was 8 years old. That was 1986. He started a software company a few years later. The world is very different than it was back then, but Kilton is still bringing new tech businesses to life. He serves as Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of IOTRACKS, which provides the world with open technologies for building a better Internet of Things. He received his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2010. Kilton will guide you through your 15-week learning experience along with numerous guest lecturers.
What you will learn
Along with technical skills, the course offers soft-skills such as business case development and how to pitch an IoT project.
Our state-of-the-art IoT lab is a well-stocked maker lab, which any IoT lab should have. This entirely new lab features sensory modules, soldering stations, prototyping boards, and then we go beyond and offer equipment such as Bluetooth traffic sniffers and digital oscilloscopes so you can work on hands-on projects such as checking the quality of a signal from a sensor that you just put on a piece of machinery.
Backed by both Northeastern and Cisco, the Level IoT Bootcamp offers you the hands-on learning experience you need and the network that you want.
